JCYC Scholarship Program is now open! On February 1, 2017, JCYC launched their new scohlarship program. Recognizing a need for funds to access higher education within our student population, JCYC has pledged to award $20,000 in scholarships to high school seniors that are participants of JCYC programs. Seniors who will be enrolled full time in a 2 or 4 year college during the 2017- 2018 academic year, with a current cumulative, unweighted GPA of 2.0 or higher are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to those that demonstrate financial need or who will be first in their families to attend college. Students are eligible to apply regardless of their citizenship status. Note that this scholarship is specifically for students that are current participants of JCYC programs, and not open to previous participants or alumni. See your JCYC staff member to get an application and more details today! SFCAC's "Educated&" Campaign The Educated& campaign is the San Francisco College Access Center's (SFCAC) newest fundraising effort, selling an empowering line of t-shirts that includes inclusive slogans to promote education for all. All funds raised will be awarded to students enrolled in SFCAC's summer program.
