JCYC Scholarship Program is now open! On February 1, 2017, JCYC launched their new scohlarship program. Recognizing a need for funds to access higher education within our student population, JCYC has pledged to award $20,000 in scholarships to high school seniors that are participants of JCYC programs. Seniors who will be enrolled full time in a 2 or 4 year college during the 2017- 2018 academic year, with a current cumulative, unweighted GPA of 2.0 or higher are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to those that demonstrate financial need or who will be first in their families to attend college. Students are eligible to apply regardless of their citizenship status. Note that this scholarship is specifically for students that are current participants of JCYC programs, and not open to previous participants or alumni. SFCAC's "Educated&" Campaign The Educated& campaign is the San Francisco College Access Center's (SFCAC) newest fundraising effort, selling an empowering line of t-shirts that includes inclusive slogans to promote education for all. All funds raised will be awarded to students enrolled in SFCAC's summer program.

Tomodachi Summer and Teen Program The 2017 Tomodachi Summer and Teen Program  started on June 5th  and will run for 10 weeks! The Tomodachi Summer Program provides children entering Kindergarten through sixth grade with the opportunity to build new friendships and cultivate new interests. The Tomodachi Summer Teen Program provides middle school aged youth with fun and challenging experiences to support their personal growth.
Chibi Chan Preschool Summer Program Chibi Chan Preschool‘s Summer Program is in session! Starting on June 5th, this 10-week Summer Program offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children age 2 to 5 years old.
JCYC Upward Bound Summer Program The JCYC Upward Bound (JCYC UB) Summer Program is underway! On June 5th, this intensive six-week Summer Program kicked off at San Francisco State University and California State University, East Bay. The Summer Program is part of JCYC UB’s year-round program that serves 150 eligible students each year.
   Nikkei Community Internship Program     The 2017 Nikkei Community Internship (NCI) Program started on June 12th in Los Angeles'    Little Tokyo, where 22 California statewide college students were orientated to the program    before starting an eight-week internship in San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles'    Japantowns. NCI is coordinated by JCYC and Kizuna in Southern California, and supports    the development of the next generation of community leaders.
