The JCYC Board of Directors is made up of dedicated professionals who provide vision and guidance for the organization. Each brings a broad range of resources and information that significantly enhance JCYC’s overall effectiveness. Members of the Board work closely with JCYC Staff to ensure a healthy and prosperous future for the organization.

Evan Wayne
Chair
Raised in New York City, Evan has lived in the Bay Area for 31 years and San Francisco for 26 years. He is currently the Chief Information Officer of Marcus and Millichap.. Evan went to the University of Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration. Evan is passionate about maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, dedicating his free time to exercising, reading, and spending quality time with his family. He is deeply committed to giving back and is enthusiastic about participating in career day events, providing mentorship, and sharing his expertise in IT leadership. With over 17 years of service on the board, Evan takes great pride in contributing to the agency’s mission and values the opportunity to work closely with its team.

Louise Carroll
Vice-Chair
Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Louise earned her Bachelor of Arts English Literature from UCLA and her Master of Nonprofit Administration from USF where she has taught nonprofit management as an adjunct faculty member. Louise brings nonprofit fundraising, governance, program management and program evaluation experience and perspectives to her role at JCYC. She loves collaborating and supporting early-career professionals.

Max Mah
Secretary
Born and raised in San Francisco, Max currently works as a Financial Analyst. He graduated from UC Riverside with a bachelors in Business Administration. Fun fact: Max ran the 2017 San Francisco Marathon, but doesn't plan to again. Max hopes he can participate in career days and cooperate more on gathering donations and leverage his corporate resources to benefit JCYC. He believes everyone at JCYC are doing fantastic job!

Shah Nagree
Treasurer
Shah Nagree is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations at Olaplex, a leading haircare brand. Prior to Olaplex, he has held leadership roles in Supply Chain, Operations, and IT at various Bay Area companies including Gap Inc., Sephora, and Amyris. Shah joined the JCYC Board in 2013 when as a parent of a young child he realized the lack of services for children in the San Francisco area. He was impressed with JCYC’s mission and success in providing programs and services to children of all ages, from infants to college-bound.

Angus MacDonald
Born and raised in San Francisco, Angus is a Senior Counsel Lawyer at the Intellectual Property at the University of California system wide Headquarters. Angus went to UC San Diego and earned a degree in Political Science and History and attended UC Davis for law school. Fun fact: For about nine years (during high school, college, and first year of law school), he was a vendor at baseball and football stadiums across the Bay Area. Angus hopes to participate in career days and providing resources to the agency as well as to specific programs. Angus is extremely thrilled to support and be part of JCYC!

Oliver Dunlap
Born and raised in San Francisco and Walnut Creek (with some time in London), Oliver is a Principal and Shareholder at Bartko Zankel, Bunzel and Miller, specializing in trial and complex litigation. A Georgetown graduate with a degree from the School of Foreign Service, he earned his law degree from the University of Texas. A former college varsity football player, Oliver also worked with the UN Yugoslav and Rwanda War Crimes Tribunal. A JCYC board member since 2004, he is proud of the organization's impact and happy to share insights on his diverse career path and global connections.

Asia Harrigan
Born and raised in San Francisco, Asia is a Legal Assistant for the Prisoner Legal Services at the San Francisco Sheriff's Department. She received her bachelors in Glass Art at he California College of Arts. Asia loves to spend time with friends and family at Golden Fate Park enjoying the fresh air during those foggy days, but also on the magical warm sunny days. If any staff have questions about the criminal law field, government jobs or more specifically city and county of SF employment, she'd be happy to answer them. Asia would be happy to share her experiences! She also says to not be afraid to push yourself to try new things, you will probably surprise yourself at how successful you are!

Darryl Abantao
Born and raised in San Francisco, Darryl is an Employee Experienced Manager in Human Resources at Off the Grid. Darryl obtained his bachelors in Psychology at San Francisco State. Darryl was also part of Tomo, MYEEP, AYPS and JYL! He would be happy to provide resume times, career planning, interview coaching, recruit outreach strategy, and viewpoints from employers when hiring.

Dinesh C
Dinesh C is passionate about using technology to improve lives worldwide. With a Computer Science and Business Economics degree from Brown University and a Master’s in Sustainability from Harvard, he has held various tech roles. As Founder and CEO of ADAPT, he leverages data and AI to promote Sustainable Transportation, benefiting public health and the environment. Currently, he teaches Ventures in Sustainability at Harvard University, inspiring students to drive innovation in sustainability. Previously, at UC Berkeley, he guided future innovators by teaching entrepreneurship. A proud JCYC board member, Dinesh supports its mission to serve over 7,000 Bay Area youth annually.

Heather Littleton
Born and raised in San Francisco, Heather is a Project Manager for the City Performance Division at the San Francisco Controller's Office. She received her bachelors from UCLA in International Development Studies. She also received her masters at USC in Public Policy. Heather was a former Tomodachi participant from 1985-1990. Both of her daughters attended and graduated from Chibi Chan Preschool. Heather hopes to attend career days and provide connections to city leaders.

Jerome Anderson
Jerome, a San Francisco native from the Fillmore District, graduated from Riordan High School and earned a degree in Rhetoric Studies from Hamilton College. He began his journey with JCYC as an Employment Coordinator for SF YouthWorks, mentoring hundreds of youth and strengthening connections with city government over six years. After moving into technical recruiting for companies like Yahoo, Airbnb, and Twitch, Jerome stayed connected to JCYC through volunteering and joined the board in 2018 to amplify the voices of staff and youth.

Gitanjali Rawat
Gitanjali Rawat is the Director of Programs for Eden I&R in Alameda County and a seasoned nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience supporting refugees, immigrants, and health and human services programs. Under her leadership, Eden I&R's programs, including the Alameda County 2-1-1 line, have grown significantly. She has also lead Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives for immigrant and refugee populations. A proud member of Soka Gakkai International, Gitanjali has been on JCYC’s board since July 2022, supporting its impactful programs for San Francisco youth.

Makiko Tada
Makiko is a seasoned retail and e-commerce executive with over two decades of experience driving growth and innovation across global markets. Currently serving as the Senior Director, Commercial at Redbubble. She previously spent over 20 years with major retailers, including Gap, Macy's, and Target, where she led e-commerce, merchandising, and buying teams.
A dedicated JCYC board member for nearly two years, Makiko supports youth development initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Oregon and also studied at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.

Gautam Shah
Gautam M. Shah, “G,” is Chief Product Officer for Carelon, a health services brand under Elevance Health, where he oversees product strategy, lifecycle management, and customer success for a diverse healthcare solutions portfolio. A veteran in digital transformation, G has driven business evolution across regulated industries worldwide, working with companies like Change Healthcare, UCSF, and Stryker.
An award-winning communicator and advisor to healthcare startups, G was named Multicultural Leader of the Year by the California Diversity Council. Passionate about community impact, he proudly supports JCYC’s mission to uplift children, youth, and families in San Francisco’s diverse communities.
