Now Accepting Applications: 2024 Thomatra Scott Scholarship

In February 2021, JCYC launched the Thomatra Scott Scholarship Fund in honor of Black History Month and to support our Black & African American youth on their path to higher education. Applications for 2024 are now open and are due on Friday, April 24 by 5:00 PM.

We seek to award youth aligned with the values of Thomatra Scott, better known as “Scotty,” who advocated for youth in education, housing, employment, human rights, prison reform, and racial justice. Scotty exemplified the values of peace, solidarity, and civic engagement.┬áTo learn more about Thomatra Scott and his legacy, click here.
