Registration is now open for the JCYC College Access Programs’ second annual Excellence in Education Awards, which will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco.
This inspirational event is a beacon for continued support to maintain high-quality academic and educational services for students from low-income and first-generation backgrounds.
Attendees will enjoy a sit-down dinner and a program packed with student performances and testimonials.

About JCYC College Access Programs
JCYC College Access Programs connects underserved youth from local public schools throughout San Francisco and Daly City with free, comprehensive, and culturally competent college access services.
Created in 1979 to lead one of the first successful citywide collaborations to obtain federal resources for college access support, JCYC College Access Programs continues to be one of San Francisco’s primary providers of college advising services. Over the past 46 years, these programs have assisted over 40,000 students to become the first in their families to enroll in and graduate from college.
Today, these programs include Educational Talent Search (ETS), Upward Bound (UB), and San Francisco California Student Opportunity and Access Program (SF Cal-SOAP).
