Empower JCYC’s Black Youth Participants  by Donating to the Thomatra Scott Scholarship!       JCYC launched the Thomatra Scott Scholarship Fund in February 2021 in honor of Black History Month! A former JCYC staff member, Thomatra Scott or “Scotty” was an advocate for youth in education, health, housing, employment, human rights, prison reform, and cultural and racial justice. Scotty is a true symbol of peace, unity, and activism, and JCYC is thrilled to launch this scholarship for Black youth who explempify his legacy. Learn more by reading our JCYC Up Close: JCYC Launches Thomatra Scott Scholarship Fund article by clicking here, and donate today by clicking here! . JCYC Receives Workspace Support from Notion JCYC is proud and fortunate to be supported by Notion! Thanks to notion, JCYC has received Notion’s “Paid Team Plan” for free, so we can coordinate a company-wide all-in-one workspace (or wiki) for sharing best practices in our mission to support Black, Brown, and undocumented youth who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. Notion will help us coordinate equity projects, hold us accountable, and measure gaps and progress.
